The deer pass is a project, executed in south of Carinthia, Austria as part of the Koralmbahn of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB). The construction method was developed by DI Dr. Benjamin Kromoser (TU Vienna) and enables to errect double curved freeform shells without any formwork. Patonic contributed with the geometry optimization of the reference surface and the discretization of the shell to be single curved.
